Waste Batteries and Accumulators
During 2022, Erion Energy collected 10.092 tonnes of Waste Batteries and Accumulators throughout Italy, of which 8,586 tonnes are Automotive Accumulators; 1,459 tonnes of Portable Batteries and Accumulators and the remaining 47 tonnes of industrial Accumulators.
In 2022, Erion Energy experienced a 57% decrease in the overall collection of Waste Batteries and Accumulators (WBA) compared to 2021.
The Automotive Battery Waste saw a 61% decline compared to 2021, amounting to 8,586 tonnes.
However, there was an increase in the collection of Portable Batteries and Accumulators by 1,459 tonnes (+10%), as well as Industrial Battery Waste with an increase of 47 tons (+327%).
